On August 2, 2021, James Michael Brennan of Glen Ridge, NJ passed away at his childhood home where he had created 63 years of memories. A loving family man, and loyal friend, James will always be remembered as the blue eyed Irishman that was always willing to get his hands dirty to help a friend in need.

James left behind his son and daughter-in-law Jason and Sarah Brennan of Clinton Township NJ; daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Robert Anderson of Glen Ridge NJ; daughter and son-in-law Kelly and Kyle Neumann of Loudoun County Virginia and former wife Paige Cole. He will forever be remembered as grumpy grandpa to his 8 grandchildren.
 James was survived by his brothers John (Jack) Jerome (Jer) and Joseph (Joe Bob) Brennan who hold strong ties to Glen Ridge.

James was preceded in death by John Brennan, Josephine Cardell Brennan and Joan Brennan.

James will be missed during gatherings at the McDermotts, giving directions to anyone driving and at the “marina.”

A service will be held for James at Moriarty Funeral Home in Montclair, NJ
from 1:00pm-3:00 pm.

James lives on in the hearts and minds of his loving family and friends.
