Obituary of Peter Theobald

Peter Theobald, 50, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Montclair and Bloomfield, NJ, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, November 14th, 2020.

Peter is survived by his wife of 25 years, Stacy (Earley), and his children, Peter Jr, Jennifer and Shane, all of Tampa, FL. He was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair. Peter worked at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fl. He was also a shipping manager for Data Print Manufacturing, and worked for the Amalie Arena. Previously, he was employed at the family business, Anderson’s Flowers in Montclair. Peter enjoyed watching his sons play football and soccer, and his daughter dance. You could find him behind the scenes, always helping out with the stage crew. He enjoyed vacationing at the Jersey Shore with family. Peter was the most generous person, willing to help out anyone in any way that he could. He always had a smile on his face and was one to always make others happy and feel good about themselves. Peter was an avid card player and enjoyed a trip to the casino. He also enjoyed cooking and barbequing. Peter is also survived by his brothers Donald Jr (Carol), Paul (Lynn), Stephen (Kara), Christopher (Renee) and Eugene (Dawn) and his sister Marge (Maureen), all of NJ, his mother-in-law Diane Earley and his brother-in-law Richard (Janice) Earley, both of Tampa, FL, many nieces and nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Ann.

Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 32 North Fullerton Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07042 on Sunday, November 29th from 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Monday, November 30th at 10:00 am. There will be a private interment.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Heart Foundation.
