Obituary of Patricia Jones

Patricia F. Jones, 82, of Long Valley, NJ, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012. Funeral from the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street, Montclair, on Wednesday at 9:30am. Then to Immaculate Conception Church, 30 North Fullerton Avenue, Montclair where at 10:30am a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Visiting hours are 6-8pm on Tuesday. Patricia grew up in Bayonne and later lived in Long Valley. As a teenager, she was a Rockette and danced in the corps de ballet for the Metropolitan Opera Company. Later she taught elementary school in Lodi and Clifton. For the last 28 years Patricia owned and operated the Footlighters Dance Studio where she was a beloved mentor for many young dancers. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Jones. She is survived by her three daughters, Margaret Jones Farrelly and her husband Dennis Farrelly, Casey Jones and Gwendolyn F. Jones.
