Obituary of John J Nolan

John J. Nolan, 85, of Austin, Texas, formerly of South Orange and Spring Lake, NJ, passed away peacefully in Austin on February 13th.

John was predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy Vogt Nolan, sister Gertrude (George) Lair and brother Frank (Anne). His survivors include brothers Robert (Marie) of Naples, FL, Rev. Paul of Jersey City, NJ, and his stepchildren, Michael (Sharon) Vogt of The Villages, FL, Patricia (Thomas) Gleason of Rowayton, CT, Christopher (Cindy) Vogt of Kennewick, WA, and Mary Jane (Rudy) Suter of Boca Raton, FL and a very large extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on March 24th in the Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ, with Interment to follow at the Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s memory to Seton Hall Preparatory School, 120 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ.
