Obituary of Raymund Frank Rogers
Raymund Frank Rogers, a longtime resident of Bloomfield NJ passed away on Tuesday, January 9 at the age of 60. He is survived by his mother Dana Rogers, and siblings, Richard Rogers, Ruta Pastore, Robert Rogers, Rita Balcom, and life time family friend Joseph Rosa. He has 11 nieces and nephews.
Ray was an amazing person and touched the lives of many individuals. He was someone easy to talk to, kind and thoughtful. He was uncomplicated, had a great smile, a healthy laugh and went out of his way to help people.
Ray served as an ASNT ACCP level II project manager in industrial contracting and pipe design, and most recently worked with FM Sylvan Inc. He took great pride in his work and the impact he made within the industry. His ability to problem solve, to develop and execute a plan was exceptional, while also making the safety of his team, an accident free project coupled with quality and reliability, his personal responsibility.
In Ray’s free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, by kayaking, fishing and hiking. He was at his best when catching a cool summer breeze in Vermont, hiking Arches National Park or finding that perfect fishing hole in nearby lakes.
As Amateur Radio (ham radio) enthusiast, KD2ETV says goodbye for now and will catch up soon. “It is what it is”.
