I told my mother of Elizabeth Flannery's passing. Both Mrs Flannery and her first husband James Myers lived across the street from her on Forest Street. How James Myers and my father were both inducted into the military in late 1943 and were both in training at Camp Blanding Florida. She remembers on different occasions seeing the hugs and shows of affection each had for the other and the terrible day in August 1944 when Private Myers was killed in France (in the Hedgerow country). How it was a lot of years before she found another love in her life. To the Flannery and Lamb families my mother expresses her sincere condolances on the passing of a wonderful woman and she knows that God will be good to this wonderful woman.
