I met Bill when I was in high school in the 70s. Princeton was nearby and I loved to spend time there. In the library, walking around town, and on the campus. I'm not exactly sure how I met Bill. Perhaps he was at a party on the campus that my boyfriend's band was playing at? What I remember about Bill was how nice he was, and always a gentleman. He took pictures of me, just simple portraits, nothing inappropriate, just to clarify, and we spent time in the darkroom together as well since photography was a passion of mine as well. I was going through some old photos and things and found the pictures. I had no idea until I turned the photo over that he had written his name on the back. I admit, I wouldn't have remembered his name otherwise. I googled him and saw his photo and yes, that was him. A little older, a little heavier,than when I knew him in 1979, but still Bill. I'm so sorry that he is no longer with us. It sounds as though he made a mark on the world, and was beloved to many.
