Obituary of Harold Frank Kelly
Please share a memory of Harold to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frank H. Kelly, a 40 + year resident of Fairfax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at The Virginia Hospital Center after a brief illness. Born and raised in Bloomfield, NJ on August 19, 1932, Frank was a proud former Marine. He was retired from a 3-decade career with the Department of Transportation in Washington, D. C. In his retirement Frank was heavily involved with the Northern Virginia Senior Citizens, St. Leo’s Catholic Church, various Veteran’s groups and organizations too numerous to mention. A former marathon runner, Frank also enjoyed spending quality time with his beloved wife Lucille. They were avid world travelers.
Frank is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lucille, sister-in-law Agnes Jordan (Bob), sister-in-law Patricia Skerko, 13 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by all of his siblings and his parents. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss him.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675, or www.support.woundedwarriorproject.org in Frank’s name would be greatly appreciated.
