Born in New York City of immigrant parents, Santo Elardo and Caroline Mazzaro. Married the late Frank Pisciotta in April 1948. Lived in Rochester, NY and Massapequa, L.I. before moving to Montclair many years ago. Devoted spouse, loving mother and grandmother. Happiest in the company of her family- loved and beloved by all that had the good fortune to know her, especially her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Dr. Anthony Pisciotta, Susan Basso, and Frank Pisciotta, her grandchildren Benjamin, Rebecca, Carolina and Michael Pisciotta, Julia Basso, Mathew and Kate Birmingham. Her nurturing personality was a blessing to all and will always be remembered. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 332 North Lauderdale Ave, Memphis, TN. Wife of the late Frank Pisciotta; Mother of Dr. Anthony Pisciotta, Susan Basso and Frank Pisciotta; grandmother of Benjamin, Rebecca Carolina and Michael Pisciotta, Julia Basso, Mathew and Kate Birmingham.
