The first thing I always think of when I think of Joyce is her warmth. I remember snuggling up in her arms and feeling an instant comfort and running to meet her when she walked in the door. Her soothing voice and contagious laugh made her magnetic: I always loved being around her and with her. She is one of the most caring people I've ever been lucky enough to know. I wish I could thank her now for all that she taught and provided for me and my brother. I miss her lullabies and stories and there has been and always will be a very special, unique, and extremely loving place in my heart for her. Her wonderful daughters and their grandchildren are also such beautiful people and I am so fortunate that I know them as well. Joyce, we love you so incredibly much and miss you, and thank you for all of the wonderful things you brought into this world. Rest in peace and know you will be in our hearts forever.
