Obituary of Rita Nerone

Nerone, Rita M. A mass of Christian burial for Rita M. Nerone, who passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Church, 32 North Fullerton Avenue Montclair. The family will be receiving friends from 8:30 AM till 10:00 AM on Tuesday morning at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home 76 Park Street Montclair, NJ. The interment will be Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, N.J. Mrs. Nerone was born in Paterson, N.J. and moved to Ormond Beach, FL in 1991 from Wayne, N.J. where she was a long time resident. She was a retired Office Manager for Dresser Industries. She was a former President of the Niners Club at Plantation Bay, O.B. and member of multiple bridge groups. Mrs. Nerone was an avid bridge player and fan of sports. She enjoyed playing solitaire and working crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Victor A. Nerone. Mrs. Nerone leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving children; one son, Stephen (Nanci) Nerone, Lebanon, N.J.; three daughters, Melissa Nerone Fletcher, Moab, UT, Suzanne (Michael) Shortman, Highland Lakes, N.J. and Michele Nerone, Mount Prospect, Ill; five grandchildren, Timothy Shortman, Michael, Skylar, Daniel and Casey Nerone; two sister-in-laws, Mary Giordano, Lawrenceville, N.J. and Anie Powers, Toms River, N.J.
