Obituary of Thomas E Lenney

 Thomas E. Lenney, 79, died February 19th, 2023 at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. Tom is survived by his loving high school sweetheart and wife of 56 years, Diane McAuley Lenney. He also leaves a son, Thomas Michael Lenney, daughter-in-law Lindsay Bezer and two 12 year old twin grandchildren, Tristan and Addison Lenney.

 Thomas was a graduate of St. Benedicts Prep where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Basketball. He then went on to receive a basketball scholarship at Niagara University followed by Law School at Seton Hall Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate of Law. He practiced law for 41 years as both a trial attorney and litigator.

 Tom and his wife loved to travel both to Florida and Europe. He also truly enjoyed the time they spent with friends and family. Above all though, his greatest joy, were his two grandchildren. He absolutely loved spending time with them and watching them do their many sports and activities over the years.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 10-11:45AM followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 12Pm at the Immaculate Conception Church, 30 North Fullerton Avenue Montclair.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
