Obituary of Mary Bernadette Bachman

Mary Bernadette Bachman, 90, passed away December 4, 2022 at the Alaris Chateau in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. Mary was born on April 8, 1932, the youngest of her family.  She is predeceased by her parents, Aloysius and Mary (Schoen) Bachman, her sisters Priscilla Bachman and Grace Molnar, and her brother Daniel Leo Bachman Sr.  

Mary grew up in College Point, NY with her family and spent a lot of family time out in Sound Beach, NY.  Mary was a former Sister of the Dominicans, OP, in Amityville, NY.  When she left the convent, she worked and lived in Manhattan until she moved to Montclair, NJ, where she lived and prospered for many years.  Mary’s love of music was her passion, as well as attending dances.  Though Mary never had a family of her own, she was an Aunt and friend to many and showed her love to all.

A funeral Mass is set for Saturday, December 10th at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Claver Roman Catholic Church at 56 Elmwood Ave, Montclair, NJ.
