Obituary of Joanna Sullivan Kelly

Dr. Joanna Sullivan Kelly, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Mortimer Sullivan of Montclair passed away peaceefully on Thursday July 28^th.

Joanna went to Lacordaire Academy and graduated from Bucknell University.  She went on to higher education receiving three masters degrees and a Doctorate in education from Lehigh Univesity.  Joanna published a childrens book as well as many articles of education. 

Joanna enjoyed tennis, skiing and travelling.  Most of all she loved her nieces and nephews and their children.

Joanna was predeceased by her husband Jack Kelly as well as two siblings, Anita Dolan and Mortimer Sullivan.  Vistation at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street on Wednesday from 8:30- 9:30AM then to St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Church of the Immaculate Conception, 32 North Fullerton Ave. Montclair where at 10AM a mass of Christian Burial will be offered.
