Rosalie Belcastro (Nee Fazio), 87, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother died Monday, July 25th 2022. Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of Anthony and Josephine Fazio was a longtime resident of Matawan, N.J. After graduating from Bay Ridge High School, she worked in Manhattan, as a secretary for an advertising company, until 1957. Married Ron in 1955 with life taking her to Atlanta and on to New Jersey where she raised 3 daughters. She had a passion for fashion and style and loved her work at a local boutique. Later, she worked at the nearby library where she was dedicated to help young and old to seek out knowledge. A grandmother that was generous with her love and time, never missing a birthday or holiday with a special gift perfectly wrapped in hand. Came full circle for the last chapter living in Wayne, back enjoying the company of her peers recalling those wonderful years dancing in Brooklyn’s famous halls. Rosalie was predeceased by her husband Ronald (2015) and daughter Diane (2021). She leaves her daughters, Joanne Belcastro and husband Roger; and Linda Flanagan and husband Vincent, her sister, Anna Ressa, and two grandchildren, Dylan and Drew Flanagan.
