Obituary of Catherine Lennon

Lennon, Catherine of Cedar Grove, formerly of West Orange on December 7, 2011. Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Lennon. Sister of the late Joseph, James, William, Rita Mendles, Anne Lauterhahn and the Reverend Robert Lennon. Visitation will take place at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home 76 Park Street Montclair, NJ on Friday 4-6 followed by a mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9AM at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment private. Born and raised in Montclair, Catherine graduated from Immaculate Conception grammar school and high school. Catherine then went on to become a member of the Sisters of Charity for 26 years. She taught at St. Joseph's School in Newark, Mt. Carmel School in Tenafly and Sacred Heart School in Newark. She then went on to achieve a nursing degree and was on the nursing staff at St. Mary's Hospital in Orange for many years.
