Kathy Rampulla Clark, 58, of Glen Ridge, NJ, passed away on December 30, 2019. She was born in Frederick, MD to Rita and Anthony Rampulla and grew up in Syracuse, NY and Easton, PA. She graduated from Easton High School in 1979 and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 1983, where she majored in marketing. After graduation, Kathy began her career in retail finance.
Kathy was recovering from a bone marrow transplant to treat aggressive polycythemia and Myelofibrosis. She loved Excel spreadsheets, Cheerios, Gilmore Girls, beauty products, and was a wealth of useless celebrity information. Kathy enjoyed working out. She earned a black belt in Tae Kwan Do and relished her before-dawn gym classes. One of her cherished activities was hiking, where accomplishments include walking across New Jersey from the Hudson to the Delaware River and hiking the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. Over the years, Kathy had been active in her Church, the Episcopal Church of St. James, Upper Montclair, serving in leadership positions as a Vestry member and on various committees.
Kathy was a true friend, with relationships with her closest friends extending decades. Kathy was a loving wife of 24 years to Jeff. Her proudest accomplishment was being a mother to Conner (22). In addition to Jeff and Conner, Kathy is survived by her mother Rita Fleming Rampulla of Easton, PA; brothers, Richard (Marianne) of Flemington, NJ, and Thomas (Melissa) of Wayne, PA; nieces and nephews Derek (Christina), Max, Ellie, Jake, and Jordan Rampulla, and Dan Reed (Katie); as well as her mother and father-in-law Ernest and Katherine Clark of Richmond, IN; sisters-in-law Donna Monell of Buchanan, MI and Kathy Lee of Durham, NC; and nieces and nephews Tony, Dillon and Alyssa Monell and Daniel, Kenzie, and Garrett Lee. Her father, Anthony Rampulla, predeceased her in 2019.
