Joseph’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Ted was one my first friends at college and he immediately welcomed me into his circle of friends. He would always greet you with that great smile and a joke or 2 to make you laugh and feel at ease. Together, we had many adventures through our college years (and after) as we grew into adults. Ted’s friendship, companionship and personality touched many people over the years and I would not be the same person without having his friendship in my life. The specific memories of Ted and our times together are too many to recount here, but Ted’s legend and the stories of his many accomplishments in life will live on for as long as I am around to tell people about what a funny, engaging and loyal friend he was.
We will forever miss you Ted, thank you for being such a great friend all these years.
With love to all at this sad time,
Grapper

I have known Ted since high school, we were close friends during the summer months when we would spend time at the beach in Sea Bright, playing pool, and partying with our friends at my house in Navesink. I remember vividly driving in his parents station wagon listening to Judas Priests greatest hits pumping loud over the stereo. Ted had such a unique sense of humor and would make everyone laugh (well at least me and the Navesink / Middletown guys) My wife and kids were over his house 2 yrs ago for a BBQ, it was a great night. Our kids got along really well and enjoyed each others company.
I was hoping to get together with him and his family this summer sometime to spend time at the beach. I will miss you Ted. Wish we stayed in touch more since you lived so close by. From one Slovak to another "na zdravie"

Ted was one of the first people I remember meeting outside of my family. When I learned the news of Ted’s passing, so many memories have washed over me from our childhood. I think of going on adventures in the corn fields behind Ballantine Rd (before Four Winds Drive)...sneaking sugar packs from the snack bar at The Peninsula House and eating them in what I think was our family’s shared room somewhere upstairs...family vacations in Florida...seeing who could do the most sprays of Ted’s dad’s binaca in his office...so many great summer BBQs (with bocce and I swear I remember yard darts)...Yankees baseball games...waiting for the Evenson's to invite us over to go swimming...great summers at The Sands with an amazing group of our parents’ friends...I could go on and on. Ted wasn’t much of a social media guy but we did keep in touch a little over Facebook usually to reminisce over something funny his dad did or said, but also to catch up on each other’s old and new families. Even though we started having different groups of friends as we grew older, that never took away from the bond of friendship Teddy and I made as little kids and I have always felt close to him. I am so sorry I can’t attend the funeral and my deepest condolences to Ted’s wife, children, mother, and sister. Love you Ted! -Dave

With Ted's passing I feel like I have lost a piece of my youth. He was a daily fixture in my life throughout High School. I came of age with Ted as part of my innermost circle. He truly was one of the funniest, wittiest and most entertaining people I have ever met in my life. His competitive spirit in the classroom was a big influence on me and helped me get to where I am today.
I hadn't spoke to him in a few years, but as great friends do, you can always just pick up where you last left off. I will miss Ted greatly. He was one of the most influential people in my life.
I love you, Theo.

When I think of Ted my mind immediately goes back to summers in Sea Bright, NJ. Ted always lit up the room, the party, or a day at the beach. We all carry your humor with us, Ted, and we always will!

Ted was a gentleman in every sense of the word-- a kind & loving father and devoted husband. Other traits which come to mind include: cerebral, humble, witty, generous, and an overall joy to be around.
Although we met only 18 months ago, I felt like we had been friends for years.
I will miss him deeply.

Ted was my Right Center Fielder for my softball for the Spring and Fall league for over 5 years. He was a very competitive and gifted athlete. He made everyone on our team laugh and was always upset when he made out. He would say “sorry guys” and we’d all say it’s ok Ted get him next time. We played yesterday and hung his jersey on the fence. We all touched it before batting saying “I love you Ted” and we all really did. He will be greatly missed and our prayers go out to his wife, kids and family at this difficult time. Until we meet again “WE LOVE YOU TED!”.
