Walsh, William K., 75, of Montclair on October 18, 2017.  Funeral from the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street Montclair, NJ on Monday at 9:30AM and then to Saint Theresa of Calcutta Parish, Church of the Immaculate Conception 32 North Fullerton Avenue, Montclair where at 10:30 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Visitation on Sunday from 3-7PM at the funeral home.

 

William was predeceased by his parents Luke and Mary (McGowan) Walsh.  He is survived by his brother Michael Walsh and sister Maureen Walsh Booth (Robert).

Mr. Walsh was a systems engineer for many years for Lucent in Basking Ridge.  He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 9, the Irish American Society of the Oranges, Montclair Knights of Columbus #1277, the West Orange Elks #1590 and The Giblin Association.  William served as the Deputy Grand Marshal of the West Orange Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in 2007 and also served on parade committee.
