Cecile Dee, 92, of Montclair, NJ died peacefully at home Thursday surrounded by family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family and a strong woman of faith. Her enthusiasm for life was very contagious and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation is Friday from 6 to 9 pm at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park St. Montclair, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 12 noon at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 94 Pine St. Montclair, NJ. Interment will be at a future date to be determined. She was born in Greensburg, PA on October 29, 1918, lived in Mount Lebanon, PA early in her life and later settled in Montclair, NJ. In 1942, she married Charles H. Stout who was lost in the Pacific during World War II and she later married Ambrose J. Dee in 1947. She is survived by her children Charles (Audrey) Dee of O'Fallon, IL; William (Ann) of Stamford, CT; Kate Heston of Montclair, NJ; Dennis (Wai Chee) of Hillsborough, NJ; and Thomas (Rita) of Tivoli, NY. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
