Obituary of Patricia Wessling

Wessling, Patricia M. of Verona and Normandy Beach died on Saturday July 9 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Wayne. Funeral from the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home 76 Park Street Montclair, NJ on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Then to St. Cassian Church 187 Bellevue Avenue Upper Montclair where at 10:30 AM a mass of Christian burial will be offered. Interment private. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9. Pat was born in Jersey City, raised and educated in Weehawken. After graduating from Weehawken High School she pursued a career in retail working Franklin and Simon in New York City. Pat was a long-time member and past president of the Upper Montclair Woman's Club. She was also active in the St. Mary's Auxiliary in Hoboken and the St. Vincent DePaul Auxiliary in Montclair. Pat also served on the board of directors for the Yard School of Art in Montclair and volunteered at Van Vleck House and Gardens. Wife of the late John H. Wessling Jr. Mother of John H. Wessling III and his wife Kathleen of Verona and Jane P. Badaracco and her husband Ernie of Colts Neck. There are also five grandchildren Jonathan, Amy, Courtney, Brooke and Tyler.
