Obituary of Patrick Shanahan

Shanahan, Patrick, long time resident of Montclair died on Monday, June 1,2009 in Morris View Nursing Home, Morris Plaines, NJ after a short illness. Born in Limerick City, Ireland he immigrated to New York in 1951 and resided there with his wife of 61 years, Teresa and his two daughters, Terri and Jane until moving to Montclair in 1965. A long time member of the Guard of Honor at Immaculate Conception Church where he served as an usher for many years. Patrick is survived by his wife, Teresa, his daughters Terri (Howe) and Jane (Vitiello) and grandchildren, Scott and Cassie Howe. Funeral from the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street, Montclair, NJ on Friday from 11am - 1pm. Then to Immaculate Conception Church, 30 North Fullerton Ave, Montclair, where at 1:30pm a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
