Milly, as she was known, was a lifelong resident of Upper Montclair, a graduate of Montclair High School and the Berkeley School and a lifelong parishioner of St. Cassian's Catholic Church in Upper Montclair where she and Walter were married. Milly was a loving wife and Mother. Along with being an active parishioner she volunteered countless hours to numerous organizations and was an active supporter of all of her children's sports teams. Even as her children grew she did not sit on the sidelines but cheered her grandchildren as well as sea kayaked, skied and tobogganed in Brookdale Park into her early 70s. Milly loved Montclair, the Rose Garden and its many parks. She was a member of the Mercier Club, Glen Ridge Country Club, and an avid tennis player. While she loved spending time with her many friends in Montclair she was happiest at the beach, travelling with her husband and watching fireworks. Milly was a true blue Mountie and her presence will be sorely missed by her family and the community.
