My Darling Steve.... When I met you twelve years ago I was broken and you mended my heart back together and then I met your children Amie Charlery, Jared Charlery, Brother Andy and wife Gloria, and brother Jeff and other family members. You all made my soul complete but God decided that Friday April thirteenth 2012 was the day he called you home and the heart that you mended over twelve years ago has now crumbled. I walked around the home which we shared for the last elven years and I am trying to pick the pieces up. Steve the last seven days you were in the ICU where I sleep with you without the thought of changing my clothes I remembered crying so hard that you heard my crying and even with you on life support you mustered the strength to open your eyes and give me one last tear drop. When I am sad and lonely and everything is going wrong I will remember that last tear drop and I will find comfort in the years ahead. Don't cry for me you know I love you and we will meet again soon on the beach so save a good spot for me because I don't want to reined my hair style. I am staring out into the night, trying to hide the pain. I'm going to the place where love will live on forever and feeling good don't ever cost a thing. And the pain you feel is a different kind of pain. You only get one love in your lifetime and it is you Steve but today God called you Home. Today is Judgment Day And I'm standing on the front line And the Lord ask me what I did with my life I will say I spent it with you...Cause your love is my love And my love is your love it would take an eternity to break us and the chains of Amistad couldn't hold us. My love one day our paths will cross again.. Things have not always been the best for us but our love have always remained true in our hearts. We always seemed to make it work. So I will go to bed tonight and every night for the rest of my life back to the place where I belong with you and where your love has always been enough for me. No, My love Some people cannot see a good thing when it is right here, right now. Others can sense a good thing coming when it is days, months, or miles away. Steve I was very luck to see the good in you from day one 02/09/2000... To those who have given up on love I say, "Trust life a little bit. I did and it was the best 12 year of my life No one can take the place of you my Dear Steve. "In all the world, there is no heart for me like yours. In all the world, there is no love for you like mine. "Please everyone love life. Engage in it. Give it all you've got. Love it with a passion because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it. I love you Steve and Always will!!! Wouldn't take anything from my journey with you......
