Obituary of Jane H Alworth

Jane Helen Alworth, 91, of West Orange, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday November 20, 2016 surrounded by her family. Jane was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School and Katherine Gibbs in Montclair; a longtime resident of Montclair, she also raised her 4 children there. She was avid golfer and shopper, enjoyed Notre Dame Football and was a longtime member of Glen Ridge Country Club. She enjoyed serving as 9-Hole chairman and experienced success as 9-Hole champion while there. Mrs. Alworth was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Lawrence W. Alworth. Jane is survived by her two sons Lawrence G. Alworth, his wife Virginia Alworth and Robert Alworth, his wife Martha Alworth. Her two daughters Mary Jane Moran and Suzanne Alworth Barrett, her husband Charles S. Barrett IV. She reveled in the successes of her 11 grandchildren and was thrilled to meet her 9 great-grandchildren!
